    a. Since he has been called by God, his behavior should be in accord with his calling, with the gospel of Christ, and with a penitent heart (cf Ephesians 4, 1; Philippians 1, 27; Acts 26, 20).

    b. Whatever you do , do it to the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10, 31). Lead a life worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him. Bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in your knowledge of him (cf Colossians 1, 10). He who called us is holy, so we must be holy in all our conduct (cf 1 Peter 1, 15).

    c. We at one time were in darkness, but now we are in the light as the Lord’s people, so we are to live as children of the light (cf Ephesians 5, 8). We are to act honestly, rejcting the deeds of darkness as those who walk in the day. (cf 2 Corinthians 13, 7; Romans 13, 12).
